Hello we are John and Rebecca Cramer, the home owners of Mad Men Beach House, Mad Men Magic Kingdom House and Mad Men Lake House. We are a proud military family and had a dream to start a vacation rental business in 2018. We fell in love with a house on the bay but a short walk to the beach, the best of both worlds in Ocean City, Maryland! Not want to regret not going for our dreams we took a risk and hoped renting it out could help us cover the mortgage. We renovated it ourselves and loved every minute of it! After going live with the property in March of 2018 I realized how much I loved helping guests make amazing memories in a place so near and dear to my heart. On top of that the property was a hit and became so popular we were fully booked all year round. We realized this could be a real business for our family and started looking for a second property right away all over Maryland but nothing was panning out. Well, in January of 2019 my parents wanted to take the grandkids to Disney for the first time. While there, on a whim, I looked at Zillow and again, fell in love! There was a large, but outdated house, with a lot of potential, in the most amazing resort community only 5 miles from Walt Disney World. On one of our “off days” from going into the parks I went to look at the house and I immediately got the vision for Mad Men Magic Kingdom House! A month later the house was ours and we renovated our second vacation rental property. Taking all I learned at Mad Men Beach House and insuring the same quality and experience, Mad Men Magic Kingdom House also was a hit and quickly became a top performing property in all of the Orlando/Kissimmee area! This success allowed us to finally complete our vacation rental dreams in having a lake/mountain house in our portfolio. In November of 2019 we bought the most beautiful lake front lot in Deep Creek Lake, Maryland! Mad Men Lake House is a new build property that is not only right on the lake but also 2 miles from Wisp Ski Resort! We believe we can now really fulfill all our guests vacation needs by providing a beach house, a Disney house and mountain/lake house! Why We Love Mad Men Beach House

In North Ocean City, our home is away from all the noise and riffraff yet still close enough to all the fun activities Ocean City offers. We love being a close walk to Ocean City’s famous Northside Park, the beach, the 2 pools and tennis courts our community offers and right on the bay. Spend an early morning with coffee on the large deck watching the birds fly over the bay waters, or take a walk down to the beach for a beautiful sunrise or head out on our fishing Kayaks for an early morning catch. Just imagine the fun you can have in Ocean City staying at our Mad Men Beach House!

Why We Love Mad Men Magic Kingdom House

We live full time in a small townhouse outside of Baltimore so when we stay at Mad Men Magic Kingdom House we LOVE having so much space for our kids to run around and be able to host friends and family. The screened in heated pool is great for the kids and the hot tub is awesome after the kids go down for bed after a long day at the parks! Growing up I was blessed to be able to go Disney every four year or so and had the most amazing memories as a kid. Its nostalgic for me EVERY. TIME. and it literally brings tears to my eyes to be able to share this special place with not only my children, friends and family but so many that choose to stay at Mad Men Magic Kingdom House as our guests!

Why We Love Mad Men Lake House

I first went to Deep Creek Lake as a young adult on a friend ski trip and had a ball! Then, 10 years later, my husband and I went to see the autumn glory in the fall with a group of friends and hike swallow falls! It was then I dreamed of a Deep Creek Lake house one day but never believing it could ever be a reality! After the success of Mad Men Beach House and Mad Men Magic Kingdom House we set our sites on our dream of creating Mad Men Lake House. After looking at many homes for sale in Deep Creek that needed so much work to get to my standards and branding style we finally set foot on the most beautiful piece of land I ever saw! It was magical with beautiful ferns everywhere and a large lake frontage that couldn’t be beat. We also loved it was so close to Wisp, on the same road and everything! After one rejected offer on the land, 6 months later we reoffered and it was accepted! This new build home is now open for business and we can’t wait for all the amazing memories our guests will share there for years to come!
